Design Engineer for the Rehabilitation of Airfield Pavements
FY 011 Dallas Fort Worth International Airport: Project
entailed airfield PCC Slab replacements, widening of
taxiways to accommodate Group VI aircraft, Total shoulder
Pavement reconstruction, Extension of taxiway WF, relocation
of emergency road and drainage improvements, Project
called for soil stabilization and the use of Polymer
Modified Asphaltic Concrete.
Design for the Regating of Terminals A and C, Civil
Design Elements and Striping Plans and Specifications.
Shifting of Gates and Passenger Boarding Bridges, Restriping
and other civil works as enabling works for the start
of extensive rehabilitation work for Terminals A and
C at the D/FW International Airport.
Regrading and drainage design Meacham Airport, Fort
Worth Texas. Project entailed drainage studies to ascertain
the adequacy of drainage structures and regrading of
areas at the end of the runway for future runway expansion.
Construction Manager and Deputy Engineering Manager
new Greenfield airport in Akwa Ibom State Nigeria, that
included a 3,600 meter runway with a CAT II approach,
with navigational aids, and a parallel taxiway, parking
aprons, a four-gate terminal building, and a maintenance
/ repair / overhaul (MRO) facility for wide-body aircraft.
Project also included circulation roads throughout the
airport, and utilities. The construction cost of total
project costs in excess of $300 million.
Construction management for a new 4 lane access
road to the Killeen Fort Hood Regional Airport, including
terminal loop road , parking and rental car facility, aircraft
parking apron, parallel taxiway extension and connector
taxiway. Project also entailed the construction of a six
gate, 83000 square foot terminal.
Construction Management for Runway 15-33 Rehabilitation
Robert Gray Army Airfield. Project had to have runway open
to operations each morning. Project included detailed coordination
with Fort Hood Airfield Staff and Air Operations.
Construction Manager for the Rehabilitation of Taxiway
E and Construction of Taxiway G at the Robert Gray Army
Airfield in Killeen Texas. Project entailed the construction
of two stub taxiways giving access between Runway 15-33
and parallel Taxiway B, as well as the construction of drainage
improvements.
